Community Care and Access Statement

At Courage+, we believe that everyone deserves safety, dignity, and access to holistic support—regardless of background, identity, or circumstance. Our commitment to community care centers on creating welcoming, healing-centered environments where all individuals, especially those historically marginalized or underrepresented, can thrive.

We are dedicated to:

  • Removing barriers that prevent individuals from accessing quality care and services
  • Uplifting voices that have been silenced or ignored, especially those of LGBTQ+ youth and youth involved in foster care systems
  • Prioritizing safety, respect, and self-determination in every aspect of our work
  • Partnering with families, communities, and care systems to build bridges to belonging and opportunity
  • Practicing accountability and continuous learning to better meet the needs of those we serve

This statement reflects our belief that creating true pathways to opportunity are achieved through intentional care, accessible systems, and community-driven support. We honor the strength and resilience of our community by working daily to remove systemic barriers and nurture a culture of belonging.
