Every kid deserves
a safe place to grow.

1.7 million LGBTQ+ kids are without homes.

They're on the street and alone, trying to find the light — much like a tiny flower growing from a crack in a sidewalk.

Courage to Grow
Sidewalk Art Series

Sprouting through cracks in local walkways and patios, the flowers of the Courage to Grow art series call attention to the urgent need to create safe spaces for queer youth.
Plantings are scattered throughout Wisconsin.
Each flower represents a kid without a safe place to grow and flourish.
Plantings are placed near queer-friendly businesses known as Bravespaces.
